Yes, you can use a water level sensor to monitor the water level in a tank. It is important to note that the ‘Water Drop’ sender needs to be placed above ground so that it can detect the water level.

A Bluetooth wireless connection allows you to connect your device to other devices within its range. This means that if you have a Bluetooth enabled phone, tablet or computer, you can use your device to check the status of your tank water level. Your tank water level monitor will have a range of about 100m, but an initial connection range of around 50m.

It is very simple to add additional tanks to the app. All you need to do is go into the settings menu and select which tank you want to monitor.

Our Tank Level Pro has a calibration feature to ensure accurate measurements of your water tank. Sometimes, the tank dimensions or the transducer position may vary slightly, causing a small error in the reading. The calibration factor allows you to adjust the reading to match the actual water level. Another factor that can affect the reading is the height above sea level, which changes the water pressure. To calibrate your device, you can wait until your tank is full and then set the calibration factor to make the reading 100%. The value is usually around +/-30mm.

The stainless-steel sensor is a device that measures the water level in the tank. It is important to place it correctly for accurate readings. The sensor should be placed at the bottom of the tank, and any extra cable should be coiled up inside the tank as well. This way, the sensor can detect the lowest water level possible. However, if the tank has a lot of sludge or sediment at the bottom, then the sensor should be lifted slightly above it. This will prevent the sensor from getting clogged or damaged by the sludge. The sensor should still be as close to the bottom as possible, but not touching the sludge.
